Claudia Cooper was Chief Investigator for the Alzheimer’s Society Centre of Excellence for Independence at home (2018-24), the group that developed NIDUS-Family and NIDUS-Professional interventions. She is co-chief investigator of GRACE, which is funded by the Alzheimer’s Society Centre for Inequalities (2026-30).

She is a consultant old age psychiatrist in East London NHS Foundation Trust memory services and a professor at Queen Mary University of London, where she is Deputy Vice Principal for Research Culture and Innovation

Jessica was previously Programme Manager for the NIDUS-Family Randomised Controlled Trial. She is the Chief Investigator of the INSTILLED study, funded by the NIHR Three Schools (2024-2027), which aims to adapt NIDUS for delivery as GRACE within real-world primary care, secondary NHS services, and third-sector organisations. She is also Co-Chief Investigator of GRACE, funded by the Alzheimer’s Society Centre for Inequalities (2026–30).

Jessica is a mixed-methods researcher focused on developing and implementing non-pharmacological interventions for people living with dementia and improving support for family carers. She completed her PhD at University College London, where she investigated the use of Goal Attainment Scaling as an outcome measure for people with dementia and their family carers.
